TOR ~Thanksgiving 2011

Just got a new 360g setup for the big guys to separate them away from the slow paced datnoids.
Took a few too many pictures and don't really have time to sort them out but please enjoy Note the colors on these guys, 100% no photoshop , amazing what the right type of lighting and gravel selection could do to these fish!
And please excuse the condition of the growout tank , just wanted to show you guys how those long-finned tors are doing. Since i just moved them into a bigger tank, they might be losing their long fins soon, we'll see...

Interesting note is, even though the bluest one you see in there, there are several others from the same batch and they are all slightly different tone.

They are only 13-16" right now.... wonder how they will be when they get even bigger

I've actually been thinking about getting some blues to add to my datniod tank.

Tors deserve a separate tank, and highly recommend separating them from datnoids. Its a myth how one of my dats got blind when it was with the tors even though i know the tors don't bite, i bet it got the dats too dizzy. who knows. dats hate tors thats what i know ^^;

nice tors!!! which ones do you have? i have some mosal, khudree and putitori im growing out. theyre only 4-5 inch though lol

I have mosal, was-mussullah-now-khudree? , possibly putitora , long finned sp from india, an unknown golden one, tambroides, stracheyi, and tor tor. I think xD Not sure, so hard to ID all these.
