Gonna say upfront I'm NOT a gun person, my brother's the real expert (1st Lieutenant USMC)

That said I bought a Smith & Wesson .500 recently per my brother's advice and highly, highly, highly recommend it. It's definitely not a good weapon to carry around on a daily basis. But it's so damn fun to shoot! And Rick from Walking Dead uses one, so we know it's effective against zombies. Win/Win!

You definitely aren't a gun guy because Rick in "The Walking Dead" uses a .357 Colt Python.

My buddy has a S&W .500 and I've shot it before. Can't say it's very practical unless you're being chased by a T-Rex!

And no it's in no way practical.... still my favorite gun to shoot though! haha

i will have a s&w 500 but i am going to have the s&w 460 first. cause in the event of a zombie invasion i could shoot 3 types/cal of ammo with it instead of just the one.

my permit is ready as of yesterday, but i have to wait till tuesday to get it. worked all day yesterday and then they are closed on monday. and also just like another post on here i am 98% sure i spent all my gun funds due to me finding a truck that i have been looking for, been 10-15 yrs looking for one like this at a good price and i couldn't pass it up. i may just have to get a highpoint to have something new to shoot.
