I have 5 orante bichir. One of them is in another tank for treatment fir his bloat. They are all pretty small about 8-9cm. I noticed one of them has his tail "torn" instead of having his tail a whole piece, the soft part that connects the bony "strands" are not there. Is this due to rapid growth causing the tail bone to stretch and tear the skin? or is it aggresstion between bichirs? will the skin gorw back to connect the bony portion to make the tail a whole piece again? (sry if my description is not that gd)

i just realised that the tip of his fin ( the one next to the gills) is littlr bent or rather a little folded down. What can i do to correct it? are ornate that aggressive to each other? will i have any trouble if i wnt to add other type bichir next time?

also, i realised that the dorsal fin of one of my other bichir looked nipped or torn. However, they look peaceful together and no fighting is seen. Are they that aggressive? or is it due to other reasons (rapid growth?)? i have 5 bgk in there wth them but are much smaller than them. I always thought bichirs coexist happily together especially young ones
