Touch screen phones

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have to use the covers for my touch screen because Sony Ericsson didn't think that gorilla glass was appropriate for use on their Xperia Ray, or any of the xperias if I recall correctly, even though almost every other manufacturer is using it, for good reason too. I went with that phone because it is a normal sized phone but having to use protectors does make the screen slightly less responsive, only slightly though.

No, I don't.

These new smart phones are expensive. They're basically, small computers. I use an Otterbox case on my iPhone 4. Otterbox cases are very durable and they include a screen protector.

I also have an Otterbox, bought it from a co worker who had the same phone as mine...HTC Hero.

I used one on my ipod touch for a while, but it was irritating when playing games like fruit ninja (the protector I had was stickier than the actual screen, so it made quick sliding motions nearly impossible), so I took it off about a year ago. My screen doesn't have any horrible scratches, considering my ipod often stays in the same pocket as my keys, but it is definitely no longer "like new."

I stopped using the case due to the bulkiness of it so I try not to place anything else in my pocket if my phone is in there. No scratches on the screen and the phone has held up save for a few dings and marks due to being dropped a few times....It has even been submerged a few months ago.
