Tough Cichlid Tank

Yeah guys, Mislabeling fish is common with Cichlids esp when they are small. The most notorious is the Uropthalamus that so many pet shops label as a Festae. I see it all the time. Also, Bifasciatums called Synspilliums and vice versa, I actually enjoy getting a great fish for a great deal that has been mislabeled/identified. Flowerhorns nearly destroyed the trimac. Now some will say all fish are from cross breeding, but it bothers me when like the pic above when its difficult to tell real from fake and consumers/hobbyists get screwed. ISH I didn't forget about you. 8)

Yeah mislabeled fish you buy you feel good leaving the store lol usually when I pay retail I question it like really should I.
 
LOL I hear ya. Sometimes I will actually tell the owners that I know a long time. Usually they don't care. So I learned not to say anything and just go on my merry way, grinning all the way home 8)

Out of curiosity, where about in Jersey are you and this gang of Trimacs? Actually more importantly, are you really interested in selling any of them?

If you are talking about the Iselin area of Jersey, that's about a two hour haul for me. Might be just out of my range buddy, but thanks anyway, you have some really nice fish there.
