I think it is necessary to an extent. But once a kid reaches around 2 or 3 years old they should know better. But there are those out there that don't and do need some spankin.

I like to use the Army Infantry method....I just lecture kiddo while he performs whatever physical activity I tell him to. If it will modivate a grown man, it will modivate a kid. You only puke a couple times from running wind sprints, push ups, flutter kicks, etc before you figure out its just easier to do what your told than to blow mom or dad off. Woah and behold wouldnt you know? his room stays clean, he performs well in school and all his chores are always taken care of. I may be the "super jerk" dad now, but sooner or later he will thank me for not allowing him to be a lazy, spoiled brat.

So thatts whhy eye cant spel oar tiepe right! JK! I've always just been yelled and screamed at when i was younger, 0-11 yrs of age. When my step dad and mom got together, i started getting spankings! I've changed ALOT since then.
