Tour through USA, can you give advice please?

As an American I'm glad that I've been to the statute of liberty but without sentimental attahment it would be a disappointment. You're inline up the stairs look out the windows for 10-20 seconds and down you go. Central park is nice. The Empire State Building is worth checking out, the observation deck is a must see. There are some gorgeous state/national parks in up state new york that would be nice day trips. If time permits I recommend visiting Chicago, greatest summer city in the country.

to be honest i did not want visit stature of liberty directly. Is it possible to find a good spot and just make a good pic? I don't need to actual enter it i think.
 
Some points of interest that I'll add include Niagara Falls, Folly Beach South Carolina, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohala Skyway in TN, and Rocky Mountains. Probably not what you would need to plan a trip around, but are just areas that I am fond of in case your trip brings you near. Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, and Hwy 28/Moonshiner 28 in NC, TN, SC make somewhat of a loop and is one of the nicest scenic drives in the Eastern States.

If you're in the neighborhood here are some of the best restaurants East of the Mississippi:
Chicago, IL-Trattoria 10, Shaw's Crabhouse, Spiaggia/Cafe Spiaggia
Charleston, SC - Hall's Chophouse, Rita's Folly Beach
St Louis, MO - Annie Gunn's Steakhouse
Dallas, TX - Al Biernat's

These are areas and restaurants that offer some of the best of what the US has to offer and should you be in the area(s) you'll not be disappointed. Whenever and wherever you go, please post up some trip reports and photos to share with the rest of us.
 
The Northwest has some beautiful scenery. Crater Lake is in Southern Oregon (not terribly far from San Francisco). Portland is really nice in August. Newport on the coast is a cool town, a little bit touristy, but still a small town. Just up the road from my house is Silver Falls State Park, Oregon's largest State Park and home to dozens of waterfalls and many, many miles of trails. Further North is Seattle, an easy train ride from Portland.
 
If you guys can't drive, I suggest look for Japanese tourist groups to go to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. I think a lot of people also include Mount Rushmore in the same trip. I know there are a number of Chinese based tour company that offer this, there should be Japanese based ones as well, but you'll need to ask around. When booking such trips, try to find one that stays one night in the park, rather than the ones that bus you in to see old faithful than bus you out. I've been there three times, twice we took our own cars and seen a lot, once with my parents, and because that group spent actually two nights in the park, my parents also saw a lot. The tour company that offered that is still around but unfortunately they are Chinese/English based. All tour groups typically pick you up in LA or Salt Lake City...

I think you can do this:

2days in NY
1 day in philly(constitution and liberty bell)
2 days in DC(again try to find Japanese tour group from east coast, due to the fact that your parents don't speak English you may visit more places than these pending the tour package you choose. They may include niagra fall which is definitely worth it. Skip Atlantic city, since Vegas is a much better gambling city to visit.
Fly to sf
2 days in sf(redwood and golden gate)
1 day in Yosemite(prearranged tour groups can be arranged as well)
Fly to la
2 days in la
3 days in Vegas(include Grand Canyon )
Back to la
5 days from la to Salt Lake City, grand Tetons, yellow stone and potentially mount rushmore(again as a tour package)
Fly out from la

You would have a lot more flexibility if your parents can drive and speak English but as it is, your options are limited by these factors.

Thank you all alot. Well my parents can drive and i can drive too. Problem is that i must translate almoat evrything for my parents and i think that gets tiresome after few days. I think we will look for japanese tours as you already said at the areas of Interest. I´m sure it will be much fun.
 
Yes translating for parents can and will get old...fast :)

When you come next time with your own friends, do consider a road trip...the biggest attraction of US in my opinion to people in highly populated country such as Japan, is the open country and road.

I plan these things for my friends in china almost yearly; they are really never impressed with cities(shanghai for instance is newer and more modern), but they like the natural, untouched sites and other cultural things like wine tasting.

To be honest only city im really excited about is san francisco. :D. And i'm very excited about nature there. The forests and all that. I think it will be great.
