SeaChem knows the chemical formulas and they have the chemists. Within two minutes of looking at the equation, a chemist will know if the nitrates will decompose to N2. If it there was a suggestion that it did, the SeaChem marketing department would be singing it from the mountain tops.

Nope phosphates and nitrates build up as water evaporates and gets replaced with tap water you get a buildup without water changes. Nitrite and ammonia same thing they don't evaporate unfortunately

Very low. Depending on the volume of the filter, you may need to get down to 1-5 GPH

If you thoroughly review the claims of Seachem about Prime…

It “binds” Ammonia, Nitrite & Nitrate in a “non toxic” form for 24~48 hours…

Therefore if you are adding Prime to “detoxify” any of these things you’ll want to add it every 36 hours or so… Which makes the permanent solution of a water change far more affective…

PS - No ammonia, nitrite or nitrate won’t evaporate at typical aquarium temperatures…
