Toxotes blythii

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey,
I´ve got two of them.
I might have to seperate them but that´s ok since there are 4 angelfish tanks I could move them into.
I could get more but for 33 Euros each and I spent over a thousand for a new computer so there is not really much left to spend on fish right now.

I hear you, My power supply died last night. luckily theyre pretty cheap to replace but for a moment I was worried i`d have to spend around a thousand on a new one.
I would definately buy them if I could find them for that price. In fact Theres only one place in my city that I know of that sells brackish fish and its on the other side of the city only accessible by car.

Congrats on your pickup, they look great. I used to have some archers but my brackish tank experienced an extinction event, one fish died and created a chain reaction. So I got africans instead then my heater broke in ON mode and killed them all. I think my 120g is haunted

FINALLY both of them are accepting Acheta domesticus as food.
I was worried since one of the Toxotes wouldn´t start eating the food I´m offering.

Now they are in the 50gal cube (waterlevel 35cm) with Epipremnum aureum placed above the waterlevel.
Every day I´m releasing 20-30 Acheta on the leaves from where some will drop into the water.
The archer did not start "shooting" yet!

I´ve got an offer from a shop in Berlin.
Well next week Datnioides polota, Brienomyrus brachyistus and 4 more Metynnis will move into my tanks.
I had to take this offer since D.polota and B.brachyistus are species I wanted to keep for quite a long time but didn´t get the chance to buy them after getting some new tanks.

But I´m still looking foward to buying more archers!
It´s just all those fish will cost me less than 3 more T.blythii.
