this may be a long shot, but does anyone here drive a Toyota FJ cruiser, or ridden in one by chance?? Looking for basic info like real world gas mileage, handling, comfort, reliability....anything anyone might have to offer

Im looking to purchase a new one soon, so im trying to get as much first hand info as possible from people before i spend $25k. on paper and in many reviews it looks like a solid truck with only a few flaws that i could live with.

great truck... not best on gas.... solid good time on road and off road

my dad sells toyotas and they let me test drive one of those things :) it was fun, but i still like my little accord better

I like it personally. I think it looks pretty neat. My buddy has one. Like mentioned before its not that great on gas but the cockpit is pretty comfy, the ride is good too. I would get one if I could afford it.

im assuming the gas has got to be better than the 1992 blazer im trading in. im lucky to get 11mpg in that thing:WHOA:

I've heard good and bad things about them when it comes to on and off road performance. I'm a Jeep guy so I have nothing to add except for the fact that I think they're hideous.

i like them but i dont like that they only have 2doors. it turned me off of them pretty quick. i went with a 4runner. i dont do any off roading but its great on the road

ive seen tons of reviews saying their great off-road, but not as many about everyday, on road. and thats what this would be, my DD

i do almost no off-roading what so ever, altho it is nice to know it wont have a problem getting my horse trailer in and out of the farm

I've had one since 2007. I average about 15-18 mpg. It requires gasoline rated a minimum of 93 octane though. I drive it mostly on paved roads in Miami-Dade.

It has four doors, actually. Two of which are not visible when the front doors are closed. I like the huge truck tires. Mine came equipped with 17 inch tires.

are you satisfied with the ride and handling of it?? say you had the $25k today for a new truck, and after owning one, would you buy another FJ??

appreciate the answers greatly :)
