So. Cal
Picked up 15+ growouts (well it was supposed to be 10, but the guy included extras so I really don't know how many I have) and I'm going to track their growth through this thread. I hoping to get a nice pair out of the group. I'll update about once every week or two.

Here's the first pics! Can anyone guess what they are?

Ding ding ding we have three winners. They're little baby GT's. Your prize is you get to take one off my hands when they're a little bigger. (I have too many of the little buggers, I don't know what I'm going to do with them all!). Like I said, I'll be posting shots regularly to track their growth.

i'm sure a few of them will get picked off by the dominant fish lol.
you'll still have quite a few but yesh, i doubt 100% of them will grow into adults.

Week one update!

And while I'm typing this, I just watched a baby slip over the divider and get eaten....

crud, it was one of the nice ones too. They're sharing a growout with a couple bigger babies.

The culprit (enjoying lunch)

Four week update.

I missed last week, stupid finals.

Anyway, sad news. I'm down to five. Before I could move them into their own tank, my fire eel figured out how to get over the divider, so he did some culling for me. Then I was gone for the weekend and my friend was watching them. Don't know how it happened, but there were significantly less when I got home. Anyway, here are the remainders.

Kinda thinkin' this one's a girl. less color and spangles.
