It's been a while since I updated, but they haven't show much change aside from getting bigger. Then last week I noticed that two of them were developing major humps. They're not even 3.5" yet! So I officially have two males and one girl. Please excuse the pictures. My growout tank is crap, and I have to sit 10 feet away and shoot with a telephoto because they're scared of cameras. And remember, algae on the glass is your friend because the fish can't see the camera.
Here's the smaller boy. He's got a huge hump for his size. He's also got the best color
Here's the larger boy. He's got almost no hump and is much darker colored.
Here's my little girl. She's much smaller with no hump and drab colors compared to the boys.
So now I have to decide which male to keep and which to give away soon because they're happily beating the crap out of each other and the female.
