well the reason why i got rid of it is bcuz im parting all my tanks, sold the 180 getting rid of the 75 and 100...after i upgrade i wanted to have the 2 turts together but they cant...they fought and bit each others mouth, one is bruised with a big lump on one side of its mouth and the other...got his jaw bit off on one side so u see its tongue...SO.....i traded it away.
coura warned you not to keep them together
these animals are not something you can expierement with
they are almost extinct in the wild
as for your trade...
that was not a very smart move at all
frt's can go for thousands
i mostly find them in the 1500 to 2000 dollar range
and he lives in hawii

they dont go for thousands YET... (at least not in Canada)

still cheaper than an average Chili Red, Super Red Asian Arowana

they got expensive because everyone wants them, because of their cute looking face and the export ban (just like the leo sting ray and wide bar datnoid)

Not the best trade you could have made, Selki. Sorry.

Thank´s for back me up:) but calm down they are not "almost extinct in the wild", unfornatly quite a few species of asian turts are indeed:(, but happily this is not one of them:D big populations still ocurr on remote rivers both in New guiney and north australia, but yes if their trade, at least on wild specimens, isnt restricted or controled somehow, they can be really endangered in a medium term(say 30years from now). But the biggest treath for them comes from destrucion of the natural habitat and hunting of mature specimens for food:(

uh.. Africa? Kali Kush and MauiWOWIE are not foreign countries, they are strains of Marijuana..

for those of you not in the 'know'.. ;)

anyways that explains the trade
..

I resent that remark miles :banhim:. Not all potheads think irrationally.
