Trading my 12'' ST for a Xanto

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lets take a break here blwn408.. i have fish that i may get anytime soon which will end up in the acrylic tank. Also bcuz of the ST that fish died before in the past...cant take any risks with a 12'' sT and a 5'' fish. Of course i didnt put the pleco in the acrylic tank, instead i placed it in a 125g glass Aqueon tank. I also got to trade my eheim 2217 for a brand new fx5 from the same guy in the same transaction of my ST. also received 2.2lb hikari aro sticks and I dont mind the ST leaving at all.. Im actually more happy for the ST since Leighton stated that hes gona put it in his new 10x?x4 fish tank. so the ST will be way happier swimming in a way bigger tank so in conclusion the ST is in a better home. THE END.

i agree but i got to get rid of my eheim 2217 for a brand new fX5 + 2.2lb aro sticks from the same guy who took my ST. I dont think I lost out... I lost out more when my RTG died cuz the ST was picking on it...grew up to a FOOT...I prefer the ST in a better environment and my pleco turning yellow its all good in thee hood

I gotta respect your choice though, its all personal preference. who knows, maybe someone might pay a million dollars for a feeder.... but u know, u really couldve gotten at least three xantos instead of one with an st ... ( unless the prices im seeing are not updated )

lol ok? Good joke. I got something coming in and its sure worth having the st out ! so i wouldnt keep talkin bryant. its gone, and u know it. dont front

I would too. But if u have your favorite fish about to be in your tank would u take the risk of a 12'' ST with a 5'' fish that u would rather keep? Think again buddy :)

i would risk it. ive done it before and nothing happend. i have a 5 inch NTT and he lives with 3 clown loaches that are an inch long. he never tried to eat or chase them.

well thatsy our experience, Ive seen my ST harrass a 7'' arowana to death... didnt think itd be that bad but i guess it stressed to the point it died, had no rip fins or body damage... just the whole part of getting chased stressed em out
