the most stubborn fish for me was chinese perch, the rest like datnoids were easy

it really depends what im trying to convert

even for my dats i used sinking, they never went to the top but chased what ever landed near them

In that case they will starve up until they decide to take pellets. :D

By the way, fasting starts today. I won't feed them until Saturday afternoon.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I hope you have a lot of patience to train them. I starved one my fish 23 days before he was willing to take non live food. I've never seen a fish so stubborn.:nilly:

Starve it 2-3 days then start throwing pellets in there. You might not need to starve it 23 days like me.

I've done that before bro and no success. I gave in after a week... I'll try 6 days starting today. Besides, I'm short on money for fish food so Saturday is perfect timing since payday is the day before...:D

We're different Joe. I'm not giving in :D

My endlicheri is already eating sinking pellets so that guy is good. I'm gonna stick with Hikari Cichlid Gold for him coz its not that smelly.

So what is a good brand of floating pellets for the other fish? Which are probably the most stubborn.
