Hello guys! I got my 4"+ Bicuda and 4" Falcirostris last 6 days ago and im starving them until now until they reach the 10th day of starving just like i did to my Vittatus to eat Market Prawns. How long it will take my Bicuda and Falcirostris to eat prawns? Any experience to them? Their tankmates is 5"+ Vittatus and 13" Fire eel and these two tankmates eat prawns. Thanks! :)

Here's some picture of the 2 when i first got them :

Those two should both be breakable if you use either the teacher fish method or the fishing method.

The falcirostris may be a tough cookie however. I've read some reports where those fish would literally never eat again if they weren't offered live. I'd love to see the results of your attempts at breaking it!

Thanks bro! Hope they eat prawns on the 10th day of starving because my falcirostris is getting thinner. But if they dont eat on the 10th day ill give them feeder guppies to full up their stomach then will starve them again for 10 days.. :)

I been thinking about getting one of those yellow tail barracudas, I'm definitely interested in watching you break it. Keep us updated!

Just an update guys! My bicuda ate prawns but 1 small slice only and my falcirostris still did not take the prawns. :( Hope it eat prawns soon.

Any progress?....I came pretty close to getting an ace today but I want to see more accounts of them eating non live before I pull the trigger.

I used to have a falcatus. I had no luck getting it to break. Eventually my scomb ate it after he grew large enough to do so from eating pellets. Lol.

I guess I won't be bothering with it then. They look impressive with a little size on them though...How big was that scomb?
