leave the lights off for a few hours so it falls asleep/more dormant. Work under red or black light and it will remain asleep or docile. you can net or I like to use large contractor trash bags (50 gallon or so) and maneuver to get them to swim inside. Heavy and difficult to lift but there's nothing to get damaged against like sides of a container.
