It was alright...If you honestly go into this movie expecting anything other than a summer blockbuster/Action flick, you are setting yourself up for dissapointment...Michael bay is almost synonymous with big explosions and no story. That being said, the movie was very entertaining, had great CGI and action, enjoy it for waht it is.

When he escapes the underground facility at hoover damn.And at the end he is shown flying away to space alive.
It was a good entertaining movie that was meant to draw big money and be actioned packed and enjoyable. I don't see why some critics thought it any more than that;aren't movies meant to entertain?

Yes Megatron transformed into a Jet after he came out and had to fly. I guess before he came to earth he went to another planet and the jet he transformed into was an alien jet. That's why it looked nothing like human's.
While other Transformers had the time to choose their alternative, Megatron was caught in the ice, and when he was able to release himself it was already battle, so he had no time to pick his earth alternative. The jet was a KICK ASS!
