transmore

I always thought clove oil would kill a fish. No?

Clove oil can be used to kill if the dosage is really high...just like transmore, depends on the dosage.

In low dosage it can be used to knock out fish temporarily. To bring the fish back just put it in clean fresh water until it swims normal again.

I used CO to knockout my 20+in aro so it don't damage itself during the move to his big tank, no problems.

I see.. Thanks for the info. So whats the safe amount for proper dosage?
Just for future reference..

lol be careful on the dosage...you don't want to risk your arowana with just a slight overdose of clove oil...i was thinking of using that when im going to move my 18" silver arowana to the permanent tank...im not sure yet if i need it...i could just get a very soft pillow case and let it swim in it and quickly rushing it like 10 feet to the other tank...i just don't want to risk something i raised since a 1"er...
