LV Golden Knights!
So I am going to california this weekend and decided to pick up 2 silver arowana and 4 peacock bass from a fellow mfker. The aros are 6" and the pbass are 5". My plan is to pick the fish up on my way home to nevada. It's going to be a four hour trip and I plan on using a 30 gallon storage tote and an aerator i picked up from bass pro shop. Is there anything else i should be using or a better way to transport them?

How big is the pump? When transporting I use a lg 30g rubbermaid. I get an ac adapter for the cig lighter. Plug in a rena 600 and airstone. This has worked for numerous 4 hour drives. If I was you Id get 2 diff. tubs just to play it safe.

make sure u tell the guy thats selling the fish to not feed them a day before u go pick them up because if he feeds them and they poop or pee in the tub ur gonna have them in they can die... oh n the ac adapter should be around 10$ bought one at autozone for that price.

Thanks, I'll just return the one i got from basspro. It doesnt look that great lol.

Chee, your aerator will be fine. That's what is was designed for and you won't need an adapter (assuming it has cig lighter plug). Two tubs would be ideal, but then would need another aerator. You could makeshift a divider somehow if you had some crate. 4 hours really isn't that long for what you are doing. They should be fine without any heat. Where at in CA?

Picked them up after work today. Eating well and doing good! Looking forward to growing them out.
