Breaking the speed of light is physically impossible. Matter cannot travel faster than the speed of light. Say there was a jet, and that jet was going exactly the speed of light (Impossible with todays science mind you) and there was someone running on the plane, their matter would actually slow down to account for them trying to go faster than the speed of light (NOTHING can travel faster than the speed of light, it is basically the top speed limit), which is why if a ship were to travel at lightspeed, a small fraction of time would go by inside this ship, compared to the outside, because time is actually slowed at this speed.livebearerfreak;4480829; said:well if we rebuild the fastest jet engines togther ( not combined but take like 3 or 4 diff fastest engines and build them togther ) wouldnt we be able to beat the speed of light?
