I wish I had come back due to better circumstances. However a bichir has bloody streaks on its fins and finlets. They are beginning to deteriorate pretty badly.

Salt didn't work. I have Tetramycin, Furan 2, and Erythromycin. I know mixing medications is bad and I don't to choose wrong. Which do you recommend?

do you have a hospital tank?

Get in the hospital tank and suggest furan 2.

How long has it been like this? Water parameters? Any other fish affected?

Its an infection of the blood vessels. It starts at the fins as red streaks and eventually makes its way to the internal organs.

Its caused by ammonia poisoning(not the case for me), or moving stress (My case).

get him the tank and dose the furan 2 . follow directions on the label.

Salt, aeration, and cross ur fingers friend.

keep in mind the tank he is going to is not cycled, and adding a cycled filter well not help as the meds will kill the bio filter, so daily water changes dosed with prime/safe a must.

Wouldn't a water change reduce the concentration of the medication? I have extra medication I can dose though. Thanks for your help.
