Also, I do not think they will need a night heat sorce as long as your house stays above 60º. If you want, during the day a low wattage compact florescent should provide enough heat during the day but otherwise, these guys do fine at room temp.

What about a full spectrum bulb like the ones they sell at Homedepot for indoor plants so that my Pathos doesn't die on me.I have one over my Planted shrimp tank and the plants do fine. I measured the heat under it and directly under it it's about 100 and then about a foot under it it's 80-90. YOu think that would work?

90 is way way to warm.

It is almost impossible to kill Pothos. Frog poop makes great fertalizer in tanks and your pothos will be growing out of control in no time at all
