So this tadpole I caught on a whim one day was pretty easy to handle. It swam away sometimes, but was calm once caught. But now the frog she became acts like I'm Hitler's mom or something. She won't stay anywhere near me and it's a struggle to move her for tank maintenance. Do treefrogs ever hand-tame?

I feel like frogs are one of those animals that aren't meant to be handled too much, more of an animal you should just observe.

I feel like froggy shouldn't be afraid of me, darn it! :(

You're probably right. They are heavily instinctive, after all. I shouldn't have expected much. I guess having an Oscar is going to spoil me on a lot of animal keeping.

Also try not to handle the frog too much, you'll damage it's sensative skin.

Are you serious...it's a frog...not a dog.

quick get a fire extinguisher we have a burn here

Probably hurts when you touch it...
Why would it? PH differences or something?

White's, huh? I'll keep that in mind.

I haven't had a froglike creature in a long, long time. I remember the toads I used to catch would fall asleep in my hand. Oh, well. Thanks for the input. I can appreciate her artistic value without touching. Tricky though, as I'm a very tactile person.
