Tremors cause leaks in tank plumbing

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The new bulkheads fit perfectly in already drilled holes so below is "my" sequence in replumbing.
I had to first cut out the old bulkheads, because no amount of yanking would allow them to be unthreaded.

Above left, bulkheads in the drilled holesholes, and 1" males to glue the PVC to, and right shot, elbows glued into males, with the upper half of the unions unions glued in.
Below bottom half of unions glued in, and unions threaded together.

Rediscovered this photo of guys transferring my better earthquake resistant tank to the island where I live.

Cropped it a bit to bring out the Eurobracing used here to reinforce tanks, because we are on a fault line.

Not only on a fault line (in fact, multiple), but in the middle of the Pacific rim of fire (regardless of on which side of skinny Panama, Caribbean or Pacific, the effects are major), and also at a place where 3-4 plates interact quite dramatically.
