I'm a jixer fan myself. My past two bikes has been Jixers. An 86 then a 91. However, since Yamaha came out with the redesignd R1's ........ I was sold. I'm planning on getting a Duc soon or an Aprilla, saving up =-)

Sweet. I turned to the dark side at the end of last year and bought my first cruiser, an HD v-rod. Love it. Never ride the sportbikes anymore.
I used to ride a 2000 gixxer 750, then tried my brother's new R1 - made my odd gixxer felt like a bloated whale.
He tried the new R6 last week, and couldn't stop raving about its handling. Said he's going to buy the R6.
Michael, what model gixxer do you own? If its the 05-06 model, whats it like compared to the 2000? Never did like the older gixxers because of their physical size.
Nice pickup in the V-Rod, it is probaly the only cruiser I would ever consider buying-when I get older of course!
Oh, by the way R1, nice tigs...sorry to derail abit, just find that most bikers like to talk about their bikes. Are all three in the same tanks? The one with the tarpons and ATF?

My thoughts exactly....................but lfs is charging $600 for one (says he'll take $300 thought)...........so tempting...........
