Morledzep;2129253; said:i saw my first peacock bass at an LFS down the street.. was a big female C. Ocellaris. she was BEAUTIFUL. I knew then that i wanted to keep them, but i had to research them to see if i could do it successfully. i was so afraid that i was going to get a fish that was going to end up like my (now ex)hubby's piranha (2ft long fish in a 55 gallon tank).
so i got on the internet and read everything i could, and every search i did came up with at least one of Scott's videos if not more. And i decided that my little 150 gallon tank was just a starting point and i would go BIGGER. lol.
so i dove in.. head first. it's 3 years later.. i have some AWESOME cichla and i'm still fascinated by them and i think i always will be.
