Not mine, these belong to a local buddy of mine. I thought I would share the pics. It's not every day you see these. 8-9" sizes without including the tail. I can't wait until they finally spawn. :drool:

No, she's looked like that since he got her. She's wild caught. Funny thing she will "hold" air bubbles. I read somewhere that some female frontosa do the same thing.
 
Wow! Never seen or even heard of these guys. Dumb question, but what lake or system are they from?

They are from Lake Tanganyika. They live deep, between 100-150 meters down, right alongside frontosa. They grow to a foot in length.
