I got my first trigger fish about a week ago the tank has been cycled for a long time however when I saw him come out of the rock for the first time today because he has been hiding in it however to my surprise when I saw him he was covered in strange sores the tank mates are 2 green spotted puffers a tomato clownfish and a yellowtail damsel92665F85-CAAF-4BA7-93BD-B70B12880513.jpeg

Keep the water clean. Make sure it’s eating. Give a round of triple sulfa.

Agree with kno4te kno4te
Looks like an injury that got infected, likely by the puffers.

Sadly he did not make it I learned my lesson and will never keep puffers with triggers again I removed the saddle which was the agressive puffer and brought him to my lfs
