Trimac/3 Spot Cichlid ID HELP? PICS

OK so i picked up this little guy for $12 (good price)?? I read on a thread from awhile ago that most trimacs are usually frontosas and espicially if you bought them from petsmart. I bout this from my lfs and they are very knowlegded fish wise. But i want to make sure this is a tri mac. I think i trust this store but the sell regular red oscars that cost $95, silver aros for $200, rtc for $195 and tsn for $145..so i want to make sure this is the correct fish and hopefully i can trust the store....sorry bout the quality of pics

where did you read Trimacs were Frontosas

that sure is a convict, I suppose someone "not into fish" could somehow mistake it for a frontosa perhaps.

Saying Frontosa instead of FlowerHorn is an easy mistake... no worries...

You've definately been mislead on the fish though, the fish you pictured is a Convict, which should cost between $2~4.
