I have a jag and a flowerhorn (which is similar) together and the flowerhorn is stronger and crazier but the jag is faster. There have not been any serious fights so its working out so far. I also have a pike cichlid in there and that thing goes heads up with the flowerhorn so its a pretty crazy tank. I think if you got more fish than just those two it would spread out the aggression and therefore there might be a better chance of keeping them in there longer.
