So I checked up on the pair to find no eggs. I am guessing the parents ate them or they are hiding.

That sucks hopefully they are hiding. How r the parents acting? Are your pair in a community tank?Its cool that I am not the only one tring to breed blackbelt to fh. I have a male thai silk and female black belt that have spawned twice so far with on luck they both r young though I am goin to try them mabey 2 more times to see what happens I really want to see what kind this combo produces
THey dont hang around the rocks anymore so they probaly ate them. They are in a commmunity with other cichlids. I didnt try to breed them. they just did it on there own. Once I get a male BB i am gonna split them. Gl with your pair. Also its a TRIMAC!!!! lol
