Trimac cichlid X Jaguar cichlid hybrids breeding with a Cuban Cichlid

So my Trimac cichlid X Jaguar cichlid hybrid found himself a mate a female Cuban Cichlid.

So I put a big male flowerhorn in my 125 gallon

to sex some of my younger fish in the tank that were not showing any signs of a sexual difference.Did it before with a Non-Red Red Texas male

and females were dropping vents all over and also got a breeding out of these two above.
So then 2 of my Trimac X Jaguar hybrids that had been a very dull color

turned a golden color with iridescence all over them.And they became a lot more territorial towards each other and a lot of attention was paid towards my female flowerhorns in the tanks.

I had a pair of flowerhorns breed on the left side of the tank and had lots of fry.I separated them but he kept on swimming over looking at the fry.And then he got a very Dark Gold color and began swimming very fast and he started cleaning the gravel away from the right side of the tank.

so he must have decided to find a female

he had female parrots ,flowerhorns and other females to choose from

but he chose a female cuban cichlid

i bought her from bluestarflowerfish and i thank you BSFF once again!

in the video it shows a female flowerhorn who wants to breed with him. Her vent is out. I don't know why he allows her around but then he chases her off in the middle of the video . He is so fast and very angry

they had 1 row of eggs in the clay pot saucer and some eggs on the little grey plastic cave .my camera died but battery is in the charger and will be updating as soon as possible.I hope they are Fertile!!!

that's literally EPIC! congratulations man, thats great. your tank is heavily, heavily, heavily stocked bro. some great fish, but that is a little much.

Well I guess the Cuban cichlid was not fast enough for the female flowerhorn. I say this because the female flowerhorn laid her eggs ,along side the Cubans eggs , and breed with the trimac X jaguar cichlid hybrid. And the weird thing is all three are getting along just fine!!!The female Cuban chases away the random convict cichlid and other fish from the eggs. They take turns guarding the eggs ,chasing away other fish and fanning the eggs.Its very weird!!!Has anyone ever seen anything like this before??? 3 Cichlids taking care of eggs!!??!!??

i sure hope so .The jagXtrimac did spawn over all the eggs from the Cuban and the flowerhorn. We will see if they are fertilized or go bad in the next couple of days.Its weird from the two females fighting most of the time to raising the eggs together.I was sure they would snap out of this breeding trance and start going Cichlid on one another but they are still together.

3 crossbred cichlids guarding fry is prolly possible, all those crosses probably messed up their brain development.

I honestly have no idea why they are getting along while they are breeding. Normally you get your pair beating up the rest of the fish and these females are just getting along just fine.The male is young and its his first breeding so maybe he is just nieve.But so far the eggs are are a couple eggs that have went sold white but the others are still clear.As far as my fish keeping routine its nothing special.All i do is keep them all well feed with Massivore Delight ,Grand Sumo Red and Green, Ching Mix,Krill,baby shrimp,Cichlid flakes and other food. Big hand fulls of feed at least twice a day or whenever they look hungry or any signs of agression towards the other tank mates.I do water changes weekly.All i hope is the eggs are fertile and the parents keep up this cooperation in parenting when the fry start moving around.
