Trimac or FH fry?

Ditto. I wonder how many people have gotten rid of juvenile Trimacs just because people told them that they actually had FH? I'm far from an expert so I don't even have two cents to add to this thread. I have a few young Trimacs myself but that's the extent of my experience with the species. But still, I would like to see what you actually have after a few more months, what ever they grow up to be. Good luck.
 
I just goes to show you this hybrid thing has really got out of hand. I have made a vow not to get into them or contribute to there rise.
 
I think there is NO WAY anyone can be sure if its one or the other. Unless, the breeder comes in and chimes what they are.
If you bought them as trimacs, keep them for a while and you will know in a few months :)

even if they turn out to be FH, no worries to me, because ( bar the abortions with gross koks ) they still are impressive stand alone beasts, imho.

I am looking for one more wet pet, to keep solo, so, either way, it turns out to be a nice mastiff, I am happy.

+1,I have a group growing out and they look exactly like the fish in the op,how you experts can tell for sure at this size is truely awe inspiring.
