Yea...the markings can differ greatly between the fish. If you look at chrisplosions avatar, yours looks similar to that in the profile shot...the beak is longer. Trimacs have a more blunt (smashed in face) profile I think.

No real way to tell though unless you just grow him out. You have them in a pond? Looks like it from the last pic. They should grow pretty fast in that so youll be able to tell in no time.

I'd rather have trimacs if thats what they are. Dont know if i should buy the rest..maybe ill wait a while to see what mine is and hope they dont sell the other guys...

If his came from Rapps then its a Trimac. The coloring has me questioning it a bit but like I said if its from Rapps then its a Trimac.

Heres that same one I posted above at around 9 inches in the aquarium and around 11 inches in the empty tank.

He was in the 30 gallon tank waiting for the person that bought him from me so he was a little stressed.
