I came across this video on Youtube today, the owner says it's a Trimac, but too me it looks like a Flowerhorn. In one of his comments on the page, he says there are two types of Trimacs, the green trimac and a gold trimac. I have never heard of a gold Trimac as a true pure breed but only as a off shoot of a strain of Flowerhorn. What do you guys think, Trimac or Flowerhorn?

Nope, gold trimacs are just low grade FH's that look like Trimacs in the beganing and then change bright goldish yellow down the road. This is the same guy that fights his fish and wants to meet anyone, anywhere to fight fish. He is a tool:screwy:

I have seen Trimacs that appear to look "gold" but I think the "olive" color is a more desirable.

I have also seen Flowerhorns that are the desired "olive" color.
With proportionate hump and lightly rosy chest.

Without knowing who he got or collected from leaves a lot of room for speculation and easy to assume...
I did watch the video of the father, I think he claims it being W/C...
Looks like a Trimac to me.

I'd like to see his "gold" female though because Bishop sure dont look Trimac to me.

For now I can only take the man's word. I dont gotta buy and breed his line...

I would have bet that it was F/H, but it also looks a helluva lot like the Rapps Trimac that abiddle just posted . . . I dunno . . .
