Trimac or Flowerhorn

I know he/she is still really young but was curious as to what you guys think it is. I purchased as a Trimac for $10.
Note: the red area near the tail/anal fin is from camera.

i have a very similar looking fish but with a more pronounced line and actual reds where you say there isnt on yours.
Was told mine was a short body/kamfa i believe.

The red areas in the circle is from camera, but it does have a little red on the tip of the dorsal. Was a little bit olive/lime green when in the bag I brought him home.

im going with low grade FH, trimacs dont have that blue lining around their spots

When do flowerhorn fry get the pearls?

im not sure what you mean by "pearls" but i wouldnt know anyways i dont keep flowerhorns, but FH can vary widely from one another based on type and grade, low grade FH can look very similar to trimacs since they dont get as much color so sometimes unscrupulous stores try to get more money and sell them as pure trimacs which is most likely what happened with yours

and could the people voting for pure trimac please give their reasoning, i am by no means a trimac or flowerhorn expert (though i know more about trimacs than FH) but i would be interested in hearing your thoughts

Speckles, spangles, sparkles, IDK what to call them. Their shiny pretty dots.
