Posting pics of true trimacs isn't going to help the OP, either. There's plenty of those on google. This is a rather simple concept, or at least it should be. lol

This looks exactly as my fish. So I think mine is most likely a trimac. Thank you!
I'll post clearer pictures of my fish when they grow bigger.

I don't quite understand why are you trying to fight the fact that there is a large possibility that your fish is NOT a trimac based on even the fish store telling you it is a flowerhorn.

There's nothing wrong with it being a flowerhorn.

prashan ......... what I find annoying is that even when this very simple concept is explained in detail time & time again over the years, there are those that still do not get it, and want to believe the first person that comes along and agrees with them. Perhaps next time don't ask, just call the fish whatever it is that pleases you the most.

Carry on ...........

From your post #16

1. Fish is sold as a Flowerhorn. Seller has never heard of a Trimac before.
2. New World cichlids not common in Sri Lanka.

I would say based on these two points alone, it would be a huge longshot that your fish is a Trimac. Low grade flowerhorns are much more common. .
