So I was reading a book on Central American Cichlids when I came across this description of Trimac Cichlids by Richard, F, Stratton....
"This red eyed Cichlid literally breathes fire. When James Langhammer was curator of the Detriot Zoo, he wrote of Trimacs that took feeder mice away from the Alligators".
Now if that was true, that is amazing. I am intrigued to learn more about this Cichlid - I have only recently read about them and know nothing at all really. They look amazing - and many people seem to say they are great wet pets. Anyone who owns a Trimac ( Everyone ) Please post photos and stories of your Trimacs. I want to know more about what they are like to own.
Please don't let this thread die straight away, if you get 5 minutes get some pics up and share some stories. Thanks for your time.
