Trimac Tribute Thread

I'm in work right now and this picture is the only one on this computer, It's the one in my avatar. This pic is 6 months old, swimming with "the Kids". They are great parents, very protective. He's in breeding dress, showing his bars. He'll be two years old in December.

I am jealous that you all have Trimacs, treasure them because I have only ever seen one Trimac and that was like £100. I am searching all the time for one.
 
yep gotta get one of these for sure. I have been looking for some time but can't seem to find one besides paying a boatload of money to order. Nevertheless I will have one. Patience is the key
 
The problem is - I could have one but I don't want to pay to much for one - so my search will go on for a few more years yet. And if one comes along, then there is the problem of.... is it a pure specimen or a flowerhorn. When I first saw a Trimac I actually thought it was a hybrid - they are very unique looking fish. Are there other colour variations?
