For all trimac keepers out there(sorry for hijacking this thread)can any of you guys tell me the difference between these trimacs,ick post#3,Jowen post#5,Steve c post# 25,Aquanero post# 13, and mine post # 20. and this photo of jeff rapps trimacs.

Buddah don't let people get to ya, you know where your fish came from and anyone who knows anything about Monster fish keeping knows the quality of rapps fish is second to none point blank period nuff said .

Now come on everyone lets keep this thread alive ! for the best underated cichlid!

yep they are f0 breeders selling f1s fulll blood line not that crap that some people are selling !!!!

I know ,i just dont like when people speak without facts. Especially these new guys that only show up with negative things to say on their first post. I only get my fish from reputable sources(NONE OF MY SOURCES HAVE BEEN WRONG YET)and will keep doing so until they stop selling fish or i run out of tank space:ROFL:
 
and on a sec note my mentor that taught me most of what i know has done more expeditions than anybody on this site hands down !!!!!!!!! and collected more cichlids from Africa to cen and south America than anybody on this site !!!!lol so when he collected these trimac him self there isnt much ? lol
 
Ira also has the same bloodlines as you gage,and yea your trimacs are with out question.

I didn't reply to poster at the time because I would have had nothing nice to say. I think you and Buddha summed it up pretty well. Somebody was just trying to get a rise without any contribution to the thread.

This is a great thread and I would love to see more pictures posted. I agree the FH craze has made Trimacs become a much maligned species. Anything with a little more red or and extra spot or two is accused of being a FH, not really fair if you look at the diversity of the species collected from different locations.
