Trimac vs Midas

If you could choose only one as a wet pet, which one would you pick and why? If Midas, what shade of Midas?

How different are they in terms of behaviour?

Super tough for me....

I love midas, especially ones with a lot of white n a lil orange. Or the ones with a lot of black markings. They get big and are always personable. I love the thick flat, high looking face too.

I love trimac, because of the great color. They are close to a midas in personality. I love their bulldog under bite too. They also get big.

Overall this is so close... midas, I guess.

I would most definitely choose a Midas cichlid. The reason I would choose a Midas is because i like the way Midas cichlids look. To add to this flowerhorns also take their looks a little from trimac a and I already own a flowerhorn and I would own two similar looking fish... I don't know I think owning a Midas would be much more fun and exciting and for some reason I perfer a big ole Midas over a trimac no matter how unseen or un common trimac are. Here is a picture of the type of Midas I would choose if I were to own one
