Actually you should get them if you like them. My bad

I just prefer a Pure solid Trimac over a Trimac that's mixed with something I dont know .. And I say wait because there are so many other fish for you to know. And these fish take tank space so that's why :)

Fair enough, what would your recommendation be for my tank? I want a great display without there being too many fish in the tank.

Jim you should get whatever you like. Learn the behavior of the cichlids you are considering and make educated decisions. Most of the Amphilophus types(Trimacs and FH) are pretty aggressive when they get larger and will most likely dominate that 180. That pair may be a good choice and give you exactly what you're looking for.

I wasn't asking for someone to decide for me, just had been told that the pair was wrong for me and the other fry would definitely look nothing like Kamfa pics that I'd see what would be worth having in his eyes. I have many ideas in my head for true species, but am craving a larger species possibly hybrid and that is somewhat uncharted waters. Have been considering Midas/Red devil tank but not sure I may get the effect I'm after...

So what did u do? Did you get the female? Sexyazzzz female yo

I would have gone with the little ones. Pure redheads look beautiful as adults and when you combine those colors with the potential of a FH I`m sure you would end up with a really nice fish. A lot of the Fh strains are mixed with Vieja anyway
