has anybody heard of a trimac cichlid.They are beautiful.does anybody on here have one if so post pics.I wonder how huge they get.I saw one at a pet store for $50 but dident get it becuase i dident have space.

once again let me warn you it will kill everything you have unless the fish has lots of room to get away. If your tank is not atleast 150 gallons don't add another fish. Trimac will kill it. My red devil, who is also a psyco fish has to fight for survival in a 150 gallon with this trimac. Once again very crazy

trimacs are one of the species used to make flowerhorns...and they are aggresive. Thats all I know
Trimac are very aggressive! They need at least a 75-125 just for a single fish in my opinion and it would be very hard to find a suitable tank mate for a full grown male but i do know of folks that have them with other aggressive fish and they seem to get away with it for awhile. I think Trimac's are beautiful fish and if your looking for an aggressive tank banger with lots of attitude the Trimac is for you, just have a tank ready for it.
they can be very mean but make great wet pets I have one about 11" in with a 13" red terror in a 240. I have tried to put other fish in this tank but between the two nothing else can survive
