Trimac..

I'd say, unless you got it somewhere reputable as a pure trimac, best disclaimer you can give is a trimac heavy flower horn.

I do not think that fish is a pure Trimac. That spangling in the body is not there in traditional Trimacs. So it definitely has some Flowerhorn in it. Maybe a couple generations down the line. Bt it is there.

I'm assuming my fish is a Trimac but I maybe wrong. I've had Trimacs in the past and this one looks just like one and acts like one too. Very mean female.

Enjoy pics let me know your opinions the reason why I ask is I am going to sell her I just want to properly sell her as a Trimac or a Flowerhorn.

She was in my 200 gallon then sump but now in a quarantine tank until I sell her. Let me know your guys opinion and sorry for the bad pics she was sleeping when I took them

it's a FH .

Flowerhorns ARE made up of Trimacs X Red devils or Synspilum or Texas Cichlids and ARE Hybrids so to say its a cross Trimac or hybrid Flowerhorn is a bit daft.... TRIMACS are the core species that formed the FLOWERHORN Craze.... So it's definately not a pure Trimac - it has to be an early form Flowerhorn.... Early form Flowerhorns where very similiar to Trimacs but now, over years and years they have become so inbreed with other species that they now look like hideous freakish looking things.

Pearling, extended red/pink down its side, elongated body. All point to FH to me. Without knowing it's origin I would definitely not sell it as a Trimac. Nice looking fish though.

Great looking group of Trimacs Mo!!
