alright, I was just wondering if anyone has tried using actual wood trim on the bottom of an aquarium. I know that the standard is the plastic, however I am wondering if you can use a nice wood instead? My own personal concern would be with regards wood rotting with moisture, however there shouldn't be that much water sitting on the trim to do that to the aquarium. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Nothing wrong with wood just put a polyurethane on it. I have used it before makes a tank look nice just do not use it if needed for support, decoration only
