trip to lfs: houston, texas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its either a vanquish or a db9-gt its to aerodynamic for a normal db9 I think and doesn't look wide enough for a vanquish really. Fish gallery is off the chain, their new store down there is awesome. I was just there 3 weeks ago and have a bunch of high res pics that I need to post up, I'll add them to this thread later tonight when I get home. That flagtail was probably 16-18" because it dwarfed mine in comparison and mine is every bit of 11". It was in the 5000 gallon tank but it lept out the top one of the employees told me. Their discus stock is amazing there but they were sorta lacking in monster fish minus the huge flagtail and mbu freshwater wise. That BB grouper was at Fish Gallery dallas for about a month but they couldn't sell it. They also have a couple GIANT distichodus sexfasciatus in the big tank and 1 beast for sale ~Trent

yea i think the only thing lackin at fish gallery is some good oddballs.. and the employess there kno what theyre talkin about, well atleast the ones ice talkd to.

That looks like an awesome LFS.

Here are the pics I took, Yeah the staff seemed pretty knowledgable at least compaired to most lfs employee's I've encountered...

To compare size of the huge CA/SA tank thats my friend whos 6'2" so that thing I'm guessing was about 8ft tall and 20ft wide ~Trent

Polleni grouper was amazing, to bad he wouldn't stay still long enough for pics, they also had some really nice mystery wrasses but they were impossible to take pics of...speaking of mystery wrasses there are a few near me at the LFS randomly but they are pricy like $300 each I think
