Trip to philippines

Hey guys im off to the philippines on boxing day for a couple of weeks and just wandered if anyone had any knowledge of any cool places to visit while im there. No doubt my missus will want to spend some time on the beach so that gives me time to explore a little;). interested in anything really but aquatic would interest me a little more.

Im not one of these people that can just burn myself to a crisp on the beach or wotever so i need ur help!!

Do you know exactly where you will be Island, City, general Area?

I too would love to know, I haven't had the time to find any cool shops much less a zoo or aquarium, the last few times i was there. The only time i was able to see some fish while I was there was when we had gone to an outdoor market in Manila, that at the time was having a dog show lol

I did get to see several Large 16"+ Asian Arrowana's(all advertised as chipped) at that market's several petshops (alot of fish stores in this area). This one store had wall to wall Asian Arrowana's most were atleast 18". If memory serves they even had the arrowana room with AC.

yeah im in manila for a couple of days before going to zambales over new year for bout 5 days then going to Naga for a week or so before going back to manila for a couple of days again
 
If i could only remember what the market's name was?!? Also gotta hit Green Hills Mall for shopping heheh

Mall of Asia (i think it was named) reminded me of some of the Malls in the US or Canada.
 
dont know wot happened there bit trigger happy on the post button!!!
its my first time to PI so looking forward to it. i have only ever seen an arowana in pics so would love just to see them in the flesh

Is that Naga City in Southern Luzon? If you are driving there, there are lots of seaside towns along the way. That's a good 8 to 10 hour drive from Manila. A couple of hours drive South of Naga City are more seaside towns and Resorts.

yeah it is Naga city goin to drive down so we can see a bit, is there anywhere in particular you recommend to stop on the way?
