tropical gar vs 6" gizzard shad

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
for those that thought i over exatuarted the size of the shad it eats. i put a play by play pic on this shad feeding. also exuse the pellet mess( this happens every time i feed pellets so i put the pumps to pile it all up at this end so i can syphon it out easier.). i fed the others pellets just before i gave the trops the shad. the lng really make a mess with pellets trying to get them down all those teeth. lessons to be taken from these is never underestimate what your gars can put down! the big shads were not cut down because they are the size of my ck i want to move to that tank. they were originally a test to see if the ck was at risk....i think the test proves it is....

Holy cow!!:WHOA:

like we were talking about, free food... you seen how large the trop is in person so it gives you a better view on how big that shad truely is. lol.

i even said again with this one like i did with the other shad. " i think it is too big", " i should have trimmed the stomach back".. " or not"...
