I love tropical gars I'm thinking about going fishing for a couple, but you have to request a special permission to fish them...thats suck cause i live near the rivers they are in!!!

jordan: yours looks very nice too! i really love how fast they can grow! i have a little one too, will be posting some pics when i get the chance.

berserker: its 290. don't have anything too recent...heres an old one. only thing different now is more fish and two smallish pieces of driftwood for the time being, until i get some more pieces.

jopbgon: is the permit difficult and/or expensive to get?

mystus redtail: not at all...the other fish are Polypterus, common name bichir
